Monday, May 17, 2004Alva Oak, 1959Story just came out in the BLUE MESA REVIEW, called "Alva Oak, 1959." It's an oldie (the majority of it was written in 1998) but a goodie, despite the BMR editor who leaned on his or her keyboard and deleted half a line of dialogue. Will keep all none of you up to date on further pubs. Right now I'm about halfway through the first draft of a novel, with only one reader (Chrissy).
